Participants: All Senior Tournament participants must hold & maintain a current 2024 Latah Creek Men’s Golf Club Membership. Club Memberships are acquired through the Washington Golf Association Website WaGolf Membership options are WaGolf /Latah Creek Full Member or WaGolf/Latah Creek Associate Member. For individuals who happen to already belong to a Men’s Golf Club (whether local or not) may become a Latah Creek Men’s Golf Club Dual Member by paying a nominal fee. All Senior Tournament Participants must be 60 years old or will reach 60 during the 2024 calendar year!
USGA Rules of Golf: All participants‘ are expected to play in the spirit of the game, conduct themselves with the highest integrity by following the Rules of Golf & applying all penalties through the course of play and strive to display compassion for all fellow participants.
Posting Scores: All Applicable Tournament Scores are to be posted to USGA GHIN. Please do not post your individual scores. I will post all applicable scores before the end of the day on each Tuesday.
Tee Times: All Tournament Participants are required to play within the blocked times made available through the Pro Shop!! Your name must appear on the printed sign-up sheet (which doubles as the Pro Shop’s Tee Sheet) Please call the Pro Shop or add your name in person. The printed sign-up sheet will be behind the counter at least one week prior to each Tournament. I will remove the sign-up sheet the Sunday before each Tuesday Tournament! Participants will not be accepted once the sign-up sheet is removed! You will not be able to sign-up Tuesday Morning! To avoid gaps within tee times on the sign-up sheet, whether this means there are twosomes or open times between foursomes, I will combine twosomes to fill times and move foursomes earlier or later to condense the time gaps.
Entry Fees: Each participant is required to pay a $10 (cash) entry fee prior to play or when scorecards are collected at the end of the round. It is greatly appreciated if you bring a $10 bill, $5’s or singles.
Awards: All entry fee $$ will be returned to the field divided equally between Gross and Net. My philosophy for payouts is to simply award more places to attract more players. Playing
Handicaps: The printed sign-up sheet will be removed from the Pro Shop the Sunday before each scheduled Tuesday Tournament. Individual and Team Playing Handicaps will be calculated using that Monday’s Handicap Index, converted to our Course Handicap (Gold Tees), then adjusted following the USGA Recommended Handicap Allowance (Appendix C) for each Tournament Format.
Scorecards: Official Score Cards will be provided to you/team Tuesday morning. Official Score Cards will display player/team names and playing handicap allowance for that day’s tournament format. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions for clarification.
Course Set-up: Course conditions will be evaluated prior to the day of play to determine whether special rule(s) are required; lift-clean-& place, ground under repair…All participants will play from the Gold Tee Markers as they are positioned on the day of play.
USGA Rules of Golf and Local Rules: All Tournament Players will follow the USGA Rules of Golf. Latah Creek currently does not have any existing Local Rules that deviate from USGA Rules of Golf.
